Nixa is a free viewer for Second Life. Letters join, lines start on the right, in chat, IMs and groups. And your friends can read you even on other viewers.

Type Arabic straight in. Letters join as you type, and paragraphs start on the right in the chat bar, IMs and notecards.
The gold ع button on the bottom toolbar turns Arabic on or off in one click (or Ctrl+Alt+A). Friend on a viewer without Arabic? Turn on ع⇄ next to the chat box: your Arabic is sent pre-joined, so everyone can read it.
Preferences → Arabic: line up paragraphs on the right, let spell check skip Arabic, and make new chats readable on every viewer.
Calm dark themes, mid tones and light ones. Open the theme gallery to see them all, or pick two colours and make your own. Every theme is checked so text stays easy to read.
Everyone on the land you are on, nearest first, in a small strip that stays on screen. No HUD, no clicks.
A small dot in the Nearby strip: green, yellow or red. Click it to see where the lag comes from: your PC, your connection, a crowded region, or something that looks like an attack, and which objects.
The Mode button on the bottom toolbar: Normal, Party, Lightest, Under attack. One click turns down what is heavy, one click brings your own settings back. It stays on when you teleport.
Five look buttons, 1 to 5. Click one to wear it. Whatever you change after that, take something off or put something on, saves into the lit look by itself. No Save button to forget.
Four new things. They all work on your PC only and change nothing for anyone else.
One switch for older PCs and laptops: lighter graphics and smaller textures, under any mode.
At login it shows every L$ that reached you while you were away, from strangers and from friends too (a friend's account can be hacked). It keeps a record that shows if it was changed, and helps you prepare a report.
One summary at login of game payouts and credits: how much, which land, and until when.
In the Nearby strip you see who is too loud, and make anyone quieter or louder for you only, in one click. Nixa remembers it.
